How can we help our PFAS-poisoned Yahara lakes and fish?
Clean Lakes Alliance and its corporate sponsors–wealthy corporations, chemical producers, gas and electric utilities, developers, law firms, banks–recommend that we ride our bikes around them, eat ice cream, and drink beer!! Please heed CLA’s advice while participating in this event: “Be safe during the Loop the Lake Bike Ride! Obey all traffic laws, be careful of cars sharing the road, and wear a helmet. Participants should obey all social distancing guidelines.”
Oops! CLA forgot some critical safety advice: Do not swim in the poison lake water to cool off during your ride. Do not let your children play in it. Do not let your dogs drink it. Do not eat the fish!
