Free time after work! (Photo by Maria Powell, Summer 2018)
This fish worked very hard cleaning up the PFAS in the west branch of Starkweather Ditch as it flows through the Darbo Worthington neighborhood. Now it is enjoying much-deserved free time and rest.
The butterflies and ducks in Starkweather also work very hard to help with the PFAS problem. The children in the neighborhood do their part too, by breathing in the PFAS that rises into the air off the creek–and storing it in their bodies forever.
Thanks for all your hard work everyone!
