For those of you who don’t know, Warner Park Center was like a second office for Maria because that’s where she met so many people doing her environmental justice work, and is just down the hill from our house. The very nearby lagoon–which we may make it out to at the event since water and fish were so integral to Maria’s efforts–is visible from my house up on Lake View Hill. We’re keeping this close to home.
